Who are the main organizers?

The training is run by Certified Permaculture Instructors from Permaculture Resource Ireland in collaboration with MEGY Association, the main organizer of the 2017 Gyuttment Festival.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Where is the training being held?

The area is located at the top of a vineyard next to Oszkó. The exact location and directions will be sent to the participants following registration.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Is there anything important I need to know about getting to the venue?

Hideghegyi Menedék is part of Natura 2000 National Park. There is no road to the venue and we don’t want to cause damage to the forest with vehicle traffic. Therefore, please park your car in the village and make your way on foot to the site which is approximately 3 kms to the site or a 40-minute hike. You won’t need your car during the two-week training program. If required, we are happy to help transport your tents / heavy bags to the site.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

What does it mean staying at a Natura 2000 site?

Most of all, you need to respect the environment and its habitants. For those arriving in the area, the Zero Waste Principles must be followed meaning that any waste you generate must be collected and disposed of after you leave the Natura 2000 site. Please bring your own mug, plate and cutlery. Only local soap can be used for hygiene purposes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
